With the help of the Outdoor Industry Association and Best Company Group, Outside Magazine conducted extensive employee surveys - designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers. Judging criteria included a great work environment, how a company promotes an environmentally friendly business process and how they create a work-outdoor life balance for employees.

Everyone at Horny Toad completed the survey - anonymously - so answers were honest. "It truly is a great place to work. We are all part of a small company that is growing and working towards a shared goal. When you feel part of something it just feels good. The motivation to do right by the company is strong and I feel like I really contribute to its goals. Plus, everyone here is super fun to work with. They are all very qualified and smart, but also know when to laugh and have a good time. It's the perfect balance."

We know we enjoy working at Horny Toad, but we're super-stoked to get some recognition for it. Congrats to all the honorees and thanks Outside Magazine for telling the world!
