Just because the economy has slowed down, doesn't mean you have to - the fun must go on! This summer lots of us are opting out of the exotic vacations to far-flung places in favor of the staycation or road trip.

Wherever you end up going we want you to send us a Post Card from the Edge. Submit a photo on our site (or snail mail us a postcard) with a caption about that roadside attraction, strangely worded sign, or something that just made you do a double take - ya know, like that huge cow you found in Colorado ... weird but hilarious.

So, hit the open road or even your own town, and show us the quirky things you saw this summer vacation. Join us in our crusade against the mundane and get entered into a drawing for some killer prizes that will extend your vacation.

the English city of York has a long, interesting and well-preserved history. Which explains some of the unusual road names to be found. But, frankly, would you want to live on this road????? Makes me think of Blazing Saddles: "We ride into town a-whippin' and a-whuppin' every livin thing in sight..."
