We selected – totally at random – a winner for our “23 Feet” contest. Chris, who submitted his entry at 8:24 on July 14th is the recipient of a $50 promo code.
Our method of selection? Easy. We asked five Toads to pick a number between one and 133 (the number of entries we received within the contest deadline). We correlated the numbers to the chronological entries. Then we wrote the entrants’ name on a piece of paper, hung that paper from the wall and threw a dart at it. The name that the dart came closest to is our winner. No big deal. Just another day here at Toad HQ.

The adventurous ladies behind 23 Feet have given up many creature comforts to live out of their 23 foot Airstream trailer. Recently they came to Santa Barbara, where we sponsored a screening of their film in the parking lot of WheelHouse (see the above photo). We really got to see our “one closet lifestyle” concept in action: these ladies rocked their Toad clothing as part of an essentials-only wardrobe.
It got us thinking about the clothes we couldn’t live without. You know, the pieces we’re constantly picking up off the floor so we can wear them one more time before laundry day… the clothes that make us feel great – even if we ran out of coffee that morning. The stuff you’d have to pry out of our cold, dead hands before we’d consider parting with it.
