Outside Magazine Best Place to Work

In 2012, Outside Magazine once again named Horny Toad as a "Best Place to Work." Based on extensive employee surveys, the poll is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers. Judging criteria included a great work environment, how a company promotes an environmentally friendly business process and how they create a work/outdoor life balance for employees.

Everyone at Horny Toad completed the survey anonymously, so answers were honest. As to what it's like to work here, design director Kate Larramendy says it best: "We don't leave our lives at the door when we arrive in the morning. The dogs keep it real, the people keep it lively and energizing, the food keeps us stoked and working by the beach allows us to breathe. There is a genuine humanity at Horny Toad that is very special and makes working here about as much fun as I can imagine working hard could be."

We know we enjoy working at Horny Toad, but we're super-stoked to get some recognition for it. Congrats to all the honorees and thanks Outside Magazine for telling the world!
